Shark Tooth Festival 2023 in Venice was… Jaw-some.

[Venice, Sarasota County, Florida} This weekend in Venice, Florida the city held its annual Shark Tooth Festival. The Shark Tooth Festival is a celebration of sharks of today and also of millions of years ago. Vendors were set up in a central area of historic downtown Venice Centennial Park. Under a huge tent in the middle of historic downtown Venice Centennial Park they were selling shark teeth any type and in any way you can imagine. One vendor was even selling a glass megalodon tooth.

Some vendors were selling single teeth of all sizes, and some were selling necklaces. Some of the teeth even had silver on them. You could also take a photo in the giant jaws of a megalodon (see gallery below).

Historic downtown Venice Centennial Park was crowded, as there was a very big turnout. There were vendors selling everything from tacos, hotdogs, burgers, crab cakes, frozen wine and beer. There was live music. Bands were taking turns playing on a stage and there was ample seating. There were other vendors there selling other things besides shark teeth also. A trolley was available to help with event goers who could not find immediate parking. The trolley was free and running constantly. The Shark Tooth Festival in Vence, Sarasota, Florida is a great event to attend, a great day out, and a lot of fun.
